Charles S. Cauffman

Charles Cauffman focuses his practice on commercial litigation, general liability, toxic tort, and construction defect matters. He handles complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. Charles brings strong legal research and writing skills and has represented clients on both the plaintiff and defense sides.

Before joining the firm, Charles worked as an associate at a national construction law firm, where he represented clients in complex construction and surety bond disputes. Earlier in his career, he handled insurance coverage and construction defect matters.

Charles earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he competed in Moot Court and Trial Advocacy. He also attended the University of California, Irvine School of Law as a visiting law student. Charles received an M.A. in history from California State University, Fullerton, and a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Irvine.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new places, and trying new experiences. He also enjoys cooking, playing tennis, swimming, learning languages, and reading about ancient history.
