Christina Denmark is an accomplished civil litigation and regulatory attorney with 20 years of experience handling a wide range of complex matters. She represents insurance companies in both first and third-party claims and concentrates her practice on insurance bad faith and coverage litigation.
Christina’s experience spans all stages of litigation, from pre-suit strategy through trial and appeal. Clients trust Christina for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to seamlessly manage complex cases.
Before returning to Segal McCambridge, Christina served as an administrative law judge at the Public Utility Commission of Texas, where she oversaw high-stakes regulatory disputes, presided over contested cases and reviewed compliance matters. She was responsible for analyzing technical filings and issuing opinions in matters of statewide significance.
Earlier in her career, she served as of counsel at a leading national law firm, where she advised clients on mineral title, due diligence and a wide range of energy matters. Prior to that, she managed a large docket of complex toxic tort and products liability litigation as local and national coordinating counsel at Segal McCambridge.
In addition, Christina served as an assistant attorney general for the Texas Office of the Attorney General, where she defended state officials and agencies in employment, civil rights and tort cases. She began her legal career at a regional law firm, where she handled insurance defense matters.
Outside of her legal career, Christina enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters and volunteering at her daughters’ schools.

Representative Matters
- Drafted and argued numerous pre-trial and summary judgment motions
- Drafted motions and assisted at trial for a client who obtained a no-fault verdict in a products liability case involving wrongful death
- Obtained defense verdict for a state employee in a federal civil rights lawsuit in the Southern District of Texas
- Secured a defense verdict for a university employee in a sexual harassment lawsuit in the Western District of Texas
- Presided over Commission-held contested case hearings, including conducting pre-hearings and hearings to affirm, modify, or set aside temporary appointments and ensure continuous and adequate utility service
- Advised energy clients on mineral rights, title opinions and due diligence for multimillion-dollar acquisitions
