E. Reno Cross is a seasoned litigator focusing his practice on complex issues in commercial disputes, product liability, toxic tort, personal injury, general negligence as well as trucking and commercial transportation. He collaborates closely with clients, crafting winning strategies, uncovering evidence, managing discovery, advocating in depositions and motions, negotiating settlements and preparing for trial when necessary. He efficiently juggles a diverse caseload, prioritizing client needs and ensuring strong advocacy every step of the way.

In addition, Reno’s experience in the District Attorney Office has provided him with invaluable insights into his current work in defense litigation. This experience gives him a unique perspective on both sides of the courtroom. Involved in the prosecution a wide range of cases from narcotics possession to burglary, he anticipates the tactics opposing counsel might employ and understands the intricacies of evidence presentation. His past experience conducting witness interviews, crafting motions, and negotiating pre-trial matters allows him to effectively advise and represent his current clients facing defense litigation.

Reno earned his J.D. from the Golden Gate University School of Law and holds an M.B.A. from the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business Management and a B.A. in both political science and history from the University of Colorado.

Reno lives in Oakland, California and is an avid tennis player, snow skier and cyclists.
