Garic Barrosse focuses his practice on insurance coverage and first-party insurance defense litigation in both state and federal courts across Texas.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Garic held legal internships with the Texas Attorney General and the State Office of Risk Management, where he gained experience in deceptive trade practices, data breach litigation and insurance disputes. Before entering the legal field, he worked as an international trade consultant advising both private- and public-sector entities on cross-border transactions throughout Asia. His multidisciplinary background and global experience support a dynamic and client-focused legal approach.

Garic earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served on the Texas International Law Journal and was named a Strauss Center Cyber Fellow. He held leadership roles in the Texas Cybersecurity Society and the Texas Law Negotiation Team. He also competed in multiple transactional and strategy competitions, earning top honors in several national competitions.

He conducted graduate research in international relations at Sun Yat-sen University in China and holds a B.A. in anthropology, with honors, from Millsaps College.

Garic lives in Austin with his dog ChoCho. He enjoys sci-fi audiobooks and getting outdoors.
