Karlfeldt Su concentrates his practice on insurance defense litigation. He represents businesses and insurers in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injuries, truck accidents, employment litigation, product liability, and professional malpractice claims. Karlfeldt has experience handling cases through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting and defending depositions, attending hearings and mediations, and preparing matters for trial.

In addition to his litigation experience, Karlfeldt advises clients on employment practices to mitigate risk, including reviewing and revising employment contracts, policies and handbooks.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Karlfeldt practiced with several California-based defense litigation firms. He also once managed his own practice. Throughout his career, he has maintained a substantial caseload and has served as both lead and second-chair trial counsel in civil matters.

Karlfeldt earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Karlfeldt lives in Los Angeles with his wife and twin daughters.  He is always on the hunt for new restaurants to try.
