Kristen Coleman primarily focuses her practice on complex professional liability cases involving various licensed industries. Her practice also spans employment litigation, E&O, A&E and D&O-based disputes. She has extensive experience defending lawyers, accountants, long term care facilities, hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians and nurses in liability actions.
Additionally, she counsels clients on cybersecurity risks and remediation. Her commercial litigation background includes defending corporate entities in suits filed against their subsidiaries and/or employees and defending clients in shareholder disputes. She is well-versed in all phases of the litigation process, including arbitration and trial.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Kristen was a litigation associate at a national defense firm. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable George W. Overton in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and a judicial extern to the Honorable Lynne A. Sitarski in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She previously held internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
Kristen earned her J.D. and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While in law school, she was a Conwell Scholar, President of the Moot Court Honor Society and was awarded the Temple Law Alumni Moot Court Award. Kristen holds a B.A. in economics from Princeton University.
Outside of work, Kristen loves spending time with family, friends and her dog Monte. She is also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
