Lydia Lieberman focuses her practice on civil litigation, personal injury defense, products liability and insurance-related matters. She represents clients across a range of industries, providing strategic legal counsel and advocacy in Illinois state courts. Lydia is skilled in case management, legal research, drafting pleadings and trial preparation, ensuring effective representation for her clients at all stages of litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Lydia was an associate attorney at a national litigation firm, where she managed a caseload of workers’ compensation cases, prepared initial file analyses, negotiated settlements and appeared on her clients’ behalf at arbitration hearings. She began her legal career as a law clerk at the same firm, gaining experience in tort defense, professional liability and appellate litigation. Lydia also held legal internships at a Boston-based employment law firm and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where she worked on employment discrimination, employee benefits disputes, government misconduct cases and public policy matters.
Lydia earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law with Dean’s List honors. While in law school, Lydia served as managing editor of the Journal of Environmental and Energy Law and completed the Environmental and Energy Law Certificate Program.
Lydia holds a B.A., cum laude, in Spanish and political science from Loyola University Chicago.
Lydia lives in Chicago with her husband and her chihuahua. She is a horror film fanatic and loves animals.
