Malia Webb concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation, leveraging her experience in federal court proceedings and impactful legal research. She is skilled in drafting legal memoranda, managing case preparation, and supporting clients through the litigation process. Malia’s strong analytical abilities and dedication to client advocacy are demonstrated through her meticulous case management and strategic legal insights.
Prior to joining the firm, Malia served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where she prepared legal memoranda, managed case dockets, and assisted in preparing for hearings and trials. She also gained hands-on experience in various areas of public interest law, including civil rights advocacy, impact litigation and appellate proceedings. Malia’s diverse legal background includes conducting discovery, drafting motions and participating in mediation preparation, allowing her to bring a comprehensive approach to each matter she handles.
Malia earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law where she served as the Managing Editor of Publication of the Texas International Law Journal and president of OUTLaw.
Malia holds a B.A. in Plan II, International Relations and Global Studies, and Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
Malia lives in Houston with her husband, Ben and their cat, Egwene. She spends her free time knitting, quilting, and scrapbooking.
