Talia Edri centers her practice on civil litigation, drawing from a broad range of experiences to effectively navigate many practice areas. She handles complex litigation and manages disputes with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to the thorough and dedicated representation of her clients, including businesses, professionals, and government entities.
Prior to joining the firm, Talia worked in mass torts litigation, where she played an integral role in seeking recoveries for victims of the 2018 Woolsey Fire, the 2017 Thomas Fire, the 2018 Montecito Mudslide, and the 2021 Coastal Fire. She was instrumental in supporting clients throughout the litigation process, including advocating for damages in mediations, resulting in recoveries in excess of $250 million for her clients. She also worked as an attorney at a California employment firm, managing all aspects of case initiation and litigation for various employment matters, including single-plaintiff cases and Class and PAGA actions.
Additionally, Talia’s background includes extensive experience in the personal injury field, where she honed her skills in managing mass tort cases. She has substantial experience in coordinating law and motion practice and negotiating settlements, which has contributed to her comprehensive understanding of complex litigation.
Talia earned her J.D. from the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where she was awarded a Merit Scholarship. During her time at Chapman, she was actively involved in the Sports Law Symposium, serving as a co-director, and acted as vice president of Sports for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Talia also contributed as a research assistant to Dean Matthew J. Parlow, drafting memoranda on sports law issues specific to the National Basketball Association and to the integrity of professional sports.
Talia holds a B.A. in political science with a minor in forensics and criminality from the University of Southern California.
