“Carla is a wonderful fit for us. Her practice overlaps with many of the liability defense areas for which Segal McCambridge is well known, while her unique offerings in the sports, recreation and amusement industries present our firm with excellent opportunities for growth and diversification,” said Mark Crane, Segal McCambridge Managing Shareholder. “We are excited to have Carla build her practice with us in New York, Jersey City and beyond.”

The news of Carla joining Segal McCambridge comes on the heels of the firm announcing its first Florida office with the addition of the 10 attorneys in Ft. Lauderdale.

“I am thrilled to tap into Segal McCambridge’s national platform, which will give clients additional support in markets across the country,” said Carla. “The firm’s deep commitment to public service and diversity and inclusion was also important to me, and it made the decision to join the firm an easy one.”

Carla earned her J.D. from New York Law School where she was part of the Order of the Barristers and the Moot Court Executive Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and has taught Sports Law and Ethics at Columbia University’s Sports Management Program since 2008.
