Diane Pompei Emery is a seasoned litigator with a successful track record of representing major corporations in mass tort and products liability cases in numerous state and federal courts across the country. In her roles as national coordinating counsel to Fortune 500 companies, Diane has managed and defended cases involving prescription and over-the-counter medications, medical devices and asbestos. Her responsibilities have ranged from the selection and supervision of local counsel in various jurisdictions throughout the United States to handling key depositions, motions, trials, and appeals.

Diane’s focus extends to case evaluation, preparation and coordination and acting as liaison among numerous courts, Special Masters, co-defendants and plaintiffs’ counsel. Notably, she also has successfully negotiated the settlements of thousands of asbestos cases with many of the nation’s major plaintiffs’ law firms.

Diane earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1992 and holds a B.A. in finance from Michigan State University.

Diane lives on Siesta Key and in Manhattan with her husband and their quirky Maltese, Falcon. She is an avid theatergoer, accomplished cook, and Wordler who still chases her dream of someday attending a concert that will match the experience of her very first one: when AC/DC opened for Aerosmith in Detroit.
