Nelson T. Rainey

Nelson Rainey is a seasoned litigator and appellate attorney with significant experience across a wide range of matters, including general liability, real estate litigation, construction, healthcare liability, civil rights and commercial litigation. He serves as national trial counsel and national coordinating counsel for multiple Fortune 500 entities.

Nelson represents companies and individual professionals in complex litigation matters nationwide. His experience spans all phases of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation through trial and appeal, providing him with the insight needed to anticipate client needs and deliver efficient and effective representation. Nelson appears in both state and federal courts across the country and regularly monitors, oversees and consults with trial teams nationwide to develop and implement litigation strategy, in addition to personally handling select matters.

Complementing his legal career, Nelson is a graduate of U.S. Army Sniper School and has served in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned his J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Mississippi.

Outside of his legal pursuits, Nelson enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, indulging in reading and playing golf.
