Carla Varriale-Barker and Shawn Green Provide Insight at National Sports Safety and Security Conference

New York shareholder and Chair of the Sports, Recreation and Entertainment Practice Group, Carla Varriale-Barker (she/her/hers) and associate Shawn A. Green are featured speakers at the 12^th Annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Carla and Shawn will present a case study involving a spectator fatality and subsequent wrongful death case to an audience of venue owners and operators. They will discuss best practices and training opportunities for stadium personnel and address topics including negligent security, crowd control, liability for service of alcohol and premises liability matters.

The session, titled "Negligent Security Litigation - Preparing for the Unexpected," will feature four speakers with comprehensive experience counseling clients on changing regulations and ever-evolving liability trends in the sports, recreation and entertainment industries.
