Segal McCambridge New York Shareholder Madina Axelrod and Detroit Shareholder Kenneth P. Williams will share insights on increasing diversity in law firms at the upcoming Women's Law Summit.
Madina and Kenneth will host a roundtable discussion "Increasing Diversity at Law Firms: The Role We All Play" as part of the "Women, Diversity & Change" program on June 6, 2019. The roundtable discussion will be an informal, interactive exchange of professional insights with a peer-level knowledge group.
Kenneth currently serves as chair of the Segal McCambridge Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Madina is past chair and is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. The Diversity & Inclusion Committee includes members from all eight Segal McCambridge offices and helps to ensure that our firm is focused on its diversity and inclusion goals and objectives.
The Committee is involved in: diversity education; recruitment, retention, and promotion of qualified attorneys and staff; participation in community activities; attorney professional development and pro bono work; and identification of new opportunities and approaches to promote diversity and inclusion within the firm.
