Daniel DiLizia is a seasoned litigator and represents insurance companies in first and third party claims.  Daniel’s experience spans a variety of practice areas, including insurance bad faith, premises liability, tort litigation and coverage litigation. He also has experience analyzing complex coverage issues for insurance companies primarily in the construction defect context.

Daniel’s primary focus on defending insurance companies and its insureds, along with his role in supervising and mentoring associate attorneys, demonstrates his strong leadership abilities and legal acumen. He works closely with his clients, applying an individualized approach to each case from pre-suit through trial and appeal. Daniel has considerable experience in all stages of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, mediations, negotiations, trial and appeals. He consistently obtains favorable results for his clients by employing negotiation, mediation and litigation to resolve disputes.

Daniel previously worked for a Los Angeles-based defense firm representing insurance companies in coverage disputes. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as a trial attorney for a nationally known insurance company, managing a large insurance defense caseload of approximately 100 files.

Daniel earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law with Dean’s List honors. While in law school, he served as the production editor of the Tulsa Law Review and membership chair of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Daniel holds a B.S. in management, cum laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys staying active, cooking, coaching youth basketball and being an avid supporter of all Colorado professional sports teams.
