Daniel DiLizia is a seasoned litigator and represents insurance companies in first party bad faith cases. He works closely with his clients, applying an individualized approach to each case from pre-suit through trial and appeal. Daniel has considerable experience in all stages of the litigation process, including motion practice, depositions, negotiating settlements and trial, consistently obtaining favorable results for his clients.

Daniel’s experience spans a variety of practice areas, including premises liability, complex constitutional litigation, tort litigation, insurance bad faith and coverage litigation. He also has experience analyzing complex coverage issues for insurance companies.

Prior to joining the firm, Daniel served as staff counsel for a nationwide insurance company where he represented insureds in a variety of tort matters. He also previously served as the assistant attorney general for the Texas Attorney General’s office handling complex constitutional litigation and as an associate attorney for a civil litigation firm in Phoenix focusing on tort litigation.

Daniel earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law with Dean’s List honors. While in law school, he was the production editor of the Tulsa Law Review, membership chair of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.

Daniel holds a B.S. in management, cum laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys staying active, coaching youth basketball and being an avid supporter of all Colorado professional sports teams.
