Marie-Victoire Wickers concentrates her practice in sports, recreation, entertainment, and professional liability. Marie-Victoire has experience in conducting depositions, drafting motions, attending hearings, negotiating settlements, selecting a jury, and has second chaired at trial.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Marie-Victoire worked as an associate at a personal injury firm in New Jersey and as a staff attorney at a big law international law firm in its financial markets department. Earlier in her career, she served as a legal intern for various companies including a privacy law firm, a legal tech company and a French record label.

Marie-Victoire Wickers counsels clients involved with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, an organization established by Congress to address sexual abuse, bullying and other misconduct, and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements. She also has a vast experience in defending lawyers and accountants in cases related to professional liability.

Marie-Victoire is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish.

She earned her L.L.M. with a focus in intellectual property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Fashion Law Association. She holds master’s degrees in U.K. and U.S. business law and international business law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a B.A. in French law and English literature from Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

Outside of her work, Marie-Victoire plays tennis, golf, and squash. She currently plays on the squash doubles pro tour. She spends most weekends volunteering to give squash lessons at StreetSquash, which serves underserved communities in Harlem.
