Oliver Lasley concentrates his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense, personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability and dangerous condition cases. He has extensive first-chair trial experience and has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts throughout California. His practice includes handling all phases of litigation, from pretrial strategy and discovery through settlement negotiations, mediation and trial.

Throughout his legal career, he has tried multiple cases to verdict, including defense verdicts and favorable outcomes for public entities and private clients. His experience also includes representing clients in contract, real estate and construction disputes, product liability and subrogation matters. Earlier in his career, Oliver founded and managed his own litigation practice, served as vice president and co-founder of an audiovisual contracting firm and represented veterans in claims for service-related benefits with the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington, D.C.

Oliver earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, in Economics from Virginia State University.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, who is also an attorney and his golf partner. When not watching Washington Commanders football, he enjoys watching his identical twin grandsons wreak havoc.
