Arturo M. Aviles brings deep experience to his practice in transportation, employment litigation and counseling, product liability, toxic tort and hazardous substances, environmental, commercial litigation and workers’ compensation. He is a credentialed bilingual mediator and experienced settlement counsel who dedicates his time to causes including immigration, human rights and dispute resolution.
Mari Bryn Dowdy manages the national coordinating defense of multinational equipment manufacturers and serves as local counsel for companies in asbestos litigation. She also defends clients in a variety of tort and commercial litigation disputes, counseling clients through high-stakes litigation while managing complex claims in both federal and state courts. Additionally, she has served as an associate liaison for Forward Together, the firm’s women’s initiative.
Mandy Kolodkin focuses her practice on toxic tort, environmental litigation, personal injury, construction negligence, products liability, premises liability, warranty defense and breach of contract claims. She has liaised with congressional and ambassadors’ staffs related to adoption issues and has created policy strategies in accordance with this work. She also has a background in journalism and public relations, which she utilizes in conjunction with her legal knowledge to provide clients with crisis management services.
Nathan J. Law defends companies in product liability and premises liability actions with an emphasis in toxic tort litigation. He serves as local counsel for large corporations, developing and executing defense strategies to provide quality, value-driven representation while minimizing client risk. He maintains a diverse practice and has experience assisting clients in a variety of litigation matters, including medical device litigation, nursing home litigation, automotive warranty claims, contract disputes, and FDCPA and TCPA claims.
Geoffrey A. Leskie creatively and zealously represents his clients in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of commercial and business litigation/disputes, commercial real estate, employment law, and insurance defense in the areas of professional liability, trucking/transportation and the defense of first- and third-party Michigan auto claims.
Alexander C. Schaffel helps his clients navigate complex toxic tort and general liability matters. He has extensive experience in all stages of litigation at the local and national levels and uses this experience to manage litigation for several multinational clients across jurisdictions. Clients know that Alex works tirelessly to help them achieve quick and successful results.
