Nicholas Richardson represents clients in tort and commercial litigation. He focuses his practice in medical malpractice, construction defect and liability, product liability, transportation, first-party property, employment litigation and insurance coverage.
Nick believes the key to success in litigation is an aggressive approach from the outset of a case. He meets early and often with clients and witnesses to resolve cases in a cost-effective and timely manner and ensure that his clients’ interests are protected. When a case demands, Nick is confidently presents it to a judge or jury.
Prior to joining the firm, Nick served as an associate at a litigation firm in Sarasota, Florida, where he represented insurance companies in construction defect matters and coverage disputes. Earlier in his career, Nick was an associate at a Chicago-based defense firm representing clients in medical malpractice, wrongful death, construction accident and other high-exposure litigation.
Nick earned his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School as well as an L.L.M. in employee benefits. While attending law school, he competed in a national moot court competition focusing on labor and employment law and earned a certificate in alternative dispute resolution. He holds a B.A. in criminology from the University of South Florida.
Nick spends his free time with his wife and two dogs and his weekends golfing and exploring Southwest Florida’s expansive craft beer scene.
